Quick View: Charter Management Organizations
Charter management organizations (CMOs) operate public charter schools with more freedom from typical district regulations. In exchange for autonomy from rules controlling curriculum, instruction, operations, and possibly collective bargaining, CMOs operate their own branded schools and are held accountable for results (e.g. subject to revocation in 3-5 years if terms in charter not met).
Although independently operated, charter schools are public schools, NOT private schools. All the CMOs we partner wtih have high student achievement and a plan for growth to replicate their success. They offer fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with small teams and alternative models for operating school systems.

Provide Proof Points: Execute rapid cycles of innovation, compared to traditional public system, to test education and operational models.
