Alumni Statistics
The Broad Residency's success will ultimately be measured by the retention and success of its graduates. To date, more than ninety percent of Broad Residency alumni have stayed in the education field and have taken positions in the following industries upon graduation:

Alumni Career Paths
We select talented individuals to become Broad Residents and have high expectations that alumni:
- Will be hired into director-level positions during or after the two-year Residency
- Will assume senior leadership positions in urban school systems within five years of The Broad Residency

Alumni Support
Our continued support and commitment to alumni is strong. Our goals for alumni support include:
- Ensuring retention of alumni in the field
- Enabling alumni to make the greatest impact and increase student achievement by keeping their skills and knowledge current and providing real-time assistance as needed
- Helping build and sustain a national movement of leaders committed to transforming K-12 public education and serving students. Thereby, advancing the field and attracting new talent to the sector

Resources that build and strengthen the network

Online Portal
|
Alumni continue to have access to the online portal which allows current Residents and alumni to communicate, share best practices, and access resources.

Functional Area Meetings
|
We sponsor two meetings each year to bring together alumni working in specific functional areas.

|
Annual Reunion
|
Once a year we bring together all alumni for a two-day reunion. The goals of the reunion are both to strengthen the network but also highlight new developments in the field.

Education Reform Webinars
|
We hold monthly webinars open to all alumni on various topics in education reform to allow them to continue to hear from leading practitioners in areas of interest.

Alumni Newsletter
|
We distribute a monthly e-newsletter for alumni of The Broad Residency and The Broad Superintendents Academy. The newsletter features alumni newsmakers, recent alumni job changes and upcoming events.

Resources that support individuals

Career Guidance
|
We provide career advice and support in job placement for alumni seeking to make transitions. This includes hosting the Portal job board, helping to identify appropriate positions, making introductions, interview coaching, writing reference letters, and more.

360 Feedback and Executive Coaching
|
We open our feedback and coaching process to 10-15 alumni every year with the opportunity to participate in the feedback
