A few things to note:

  1. If you are, or are considering applying to The Broad Residency program, accessing The Broad Talent Bridge does not negatively impact your candidacy. You can apply for The Broad Residency and still separately seek employment through The Broad Talent Bridge (we actually encourage this). However, if you accept, or are planning to accept a position with an organization that you source through The Broad Talent Bridge, you should inform us because that could impact your candidacy process.
  2. We provide this Resume Book and Job Board FREE to you and to the organizations. Organizations do not pay to post jobs or to review the resume book. We provide this service in hope that it allows more people to join reform minded education organizations that need talent.
  3. Uploading your resume to The Broad Talent Bridge is completely separate from applying to The Broad Residency. To apply to The Broad Residency click "Apply" in the navigation bar above.

Information for Employers:

The purpose of The Broad Talent Bridge is to connect highly qualified and experienced management professionals, interested in education sector management and leadership positions, with organizations looking for talented individuals to lead and manage high impact work that improves public education, particularly in urban settings.

All K-12 education employers are encouraged to post their open positions on Talent Bridge. Because the mission of The Broad Center is to raise student achievement by recruiting, training, placing and supporting executive talent to become the next generation of urban school system leaders; we are particularly interested in employers that fit the following profile:

  • School Districts: Located in an urban area (based on NCES Common Core Data) and serving at least 20,000 students; 40% of which are eligible for free or reduced-price school lunch; and 40% of the total students enrolled are from minority populations.
  • Charter Management Organizations (CMOs): Located in an urban area and serving populations where 40% of students served are eligible for free or reduced-price school lunch; and 40% of the total students enrolled are from minority backgrounds. Organizations that have viable plans for scaling are of particular interest.
  • State Departments of Education: In a more limited fashion, we encourage state policy organizations which have authority and funding to support a significant reform agenda intended to increase student achievement in urban school systems in their state to post career and politically appointed positions.

The type and profile of an organization, will determine the features available on Talent Bridge.
